Sleep deprived

I really ought to stop breaking my new years resolution of sleeping early because 6 hours of sleep is clearly not enough for me. I find that i feel extra sleepy during tutor. It might be because i just sit there listening without actually doing much. Or maybe because it's really dim inside my tutor's house. Either way, i hope he doesn't realise that i'm sitting there nodding away. I ended up doing my speech today because no-one volunteered and i got picked as the second person to go. I'm rather glad that i got it over and done with, but now i'm paranoid about my mark. Stress just doesn't want to leave me alone, does it?

Because i saw the cutest cookie recipe, i have the sudden urge to bake cookies. I tend to want to bake things just because they look cute/pretty. I don't even end up eating them much. Hm, not sure if i'll have time this weekend but i might bake some.

*Yawns* I shall go to sleep before i pass out on my desk. Goodnight.

Mint Candy Apple

Painted Painting (still need to finish right hand) my nails. Colour: Essie's Mint Candy Apple. It came out a lot darker than i expected, sort of like a Tiffany blue. Although i thought it'd be a lot lighter, i'm still loving the colour. My nails aren't even the same shape, i should file them.

Liar - Oska

I was listening to music whilst walking to the bus stop this morning and Liar by Oska in Secret Garden started playing (That's how it was spelt in the drama. Why does the single cover say Oscar?) Now it's stuck in my head on replay. It's dangerously catchy. Well, i think it is.

Winter night

I'm so glad the weather has finally dropped but i think it's a little too cold right now, around 17.8 degrees at Homebush? It feels like a Winter day in the midst of Summer. But you know what would be nice? If we had our jerseys ! We apparently wont get them until the end of this term or the beginning of next. Very slow if you ask me. I don't have much to talk about, really. Oh, but i have been thinking about getting a laptop so i can use it downstairs when i want to, or watch dramas in my bed (hehe). Which reminds me, i started watching 大切なことはすべて君が教えてくれた (Taisetsu na Koto wa Subeta Kimi ga Oshiete Kureta) with Miura Haruma and Toda Erika. Both my favourites :3 I feel like i haven't watched a Japanese drama in ages because there hasn't really been anything interesting lately. Anyway, this drama looks quite promising.

Only two periods of class for me tomorrow, but my free period is in between so i guess i'll go to the library to do my tutor homework.

Stuck in a heat wave

Ten million years later, i'm finally getting somewhere with my English speech that i was meant to have finished ages ago. Well, i guess now that i know what i want to write, it shouldn't take as long. That is, unless i get sidetracked (I want the next ep of Dream High !). Urgh, i'm so fail at English because unlike other subjects, there isn't a textbook with info to remember, nor are there calculations and formulas like in maths. I really do wish that i was naturally good at English like some people.

Hot weather makes me so tired and lazy. I can't wait til this stupid heat wave is gone ! *angryface* I'm glad it's fairly pleasant tonight though.

I really love IU's voice, not to mention her character in Dream High.

I wish it would rain

If you know me well, you would probably know that i generally hate when it rains,

but right now, i wish a storm would come.

Bird Dance

Best part of ep 9. I laughed so hard.

Mr. Yang tries to help the quartet choreograph a dance related to the theme of "birds" and tells them to imagine being a bird.

At home

Today is the swimming carnival and even though it's our last one, i decided to stay home because it's too hot and it's really a waste of time anyway. Maybe i would've considered going if Kristy and Irene didn't say they weren't. The only thing i would've wanted to see would be people in my grade "racing" with their floaties and water guns, not that i would've swam.

I'm not sure if i blogged about it but last time i went to the post office to collect my parcels, the man working at the counter said that one of them "wasn't there" and told me to go back after i get a second notice. Half a month later, they apparently finally found it somewhere and i got a notice to collect it. Not only was i annoyed at that fact, but walking over in this weather would be suicide. Luckily i got a lift from Viv's very nice family friend after school yesterday, who also drove me down to the station. Haha, i think i have too much nail polish now. I promise i will stop buying any (maybe after i get the three other colours i wanted from China Glaze?)

Essie Mint Candy Apple and Lapis of Luxury

Hm, contemplating on whether i should pre purchase any movie tickets because there's that $7 movie tickets deal with Cinebuzz again. There are a couple of movies i wouldn't mind watching, maybe I am Number Four and Sucker Punch. Unless there's some good movie in the coming soon list that didn't have a name interesting enough for me to click on or youtube the trailer. I still haven't watched The Green Hornet, though i really only want to watch it because of Jay Chou.
