Zara parent Inditex, has finally publicly confirmed plans to enter the Australian market.
Pablo Isla, deputy chairman and CEO of the Spanish based retail giant, confirmed at the company's annual meeting on Tuesday that the company would open its first stores in Australia and South Africa "next year".
While he did not identify which of the company's retail brands will be rolled out in the new markets first, it is inevitable the best known and largest, Zara, will lead the way.Source: inside retailing
