I went to the JTAN HSC Course Workshop at SHORE High School in North Sydney today. Only four people (including myself) in my class went and we got split up so I was the biggest loner ever. I also don't know anyone from other schools that does Beginners ); I wasn't planning on going at first but then I changed my mind because I decided that it would probably be really beneficial for my HSC speaking exam which is coming up very soon. The school was huge and there were these massive floor-to-ceiling windows in the library from which you could see the harbour. It must be nice to sit there and study on a sunny day *jealous*. I would've taken a photo but everyone was there so I probably would've looked like some weird person who hasn't seen the harbour before.
So basically I went around and had a conversation with three different teachers and did a listening exercise. The first teacher said that I should expand on my answers a little more, the second said I should talk a bit louder because it needs to be recorded in the HSC, and the last said there was nothing she could help me with haha. Overall they were very nice teachers and I'm really glad I went because I'm so much more confident now :D (and less scared about having a conversation in Japanese with a HSC examiner whom I don't know). Afterwards I went for two games of bowling at AMF in North Strathfield with my friend who was kind enough to catch the train to North Sydney with me. Hehe thank you (: I won both games mwahaha.
Hm, need to find a baby photo to put in our yearbook.
