I think i should just make a conclusion that it is impossible for me to sleep early. It just doesn't happen. I mean, i tell myself i'll sleep early and next thing i know it's already midnight. Well, at least i don't fall asleep in class? I never have actually. Today was boring as usual, not that school is ever the slightest bit interesting. *Sigh* my to-do-list is so long it's not funny. I do however, like the satisfaction of ticking (or crossing) something off very much.
Ah, Neuschwanstein Castle is so breathtaking no matter how many times i come across photos of it.

Cheerful
Yesterday was a very happy day for me. In case you guys don't know, i really dislike English and i'm not very good with speeches, public speaking and the like (I have improved a lot though). I was so scared that i had failed my assessment task but we got our marks back and i was literally speechless. However, although i'm ecstatic and over the moon about my mark, likewise with my first assessment, i feel a little undeserving. It seems that whenever i'm confident about something, i end up being disappointed, and whenever i think i failed, i surprise myself. I can't decide whether that's a good thing or a bad thing. I do hope i can keep up my marks, especially considering that English has to be counted for my ATAR (sadly).
Next week seems like a rather busy week. We have cross country on Wednesday (such a waste of time), photos on Friday and i think i shall be skipping school on Tuesday because i have an orthodontist appointment.
Hm, time to clean my desk. It's oh so dusty ):

Care to sit on a coffin?
A couch made from a coffin? I've got to admit it looks quite fascinating. I do wonder if that coffin was used or not though. Hm, horrifying thought. Just in case i get weird looks, i wasn't searching up eccentric furniture and coffins, i saw it on a blog and thought i'd share it with you guys because i find it oh so amusing. It's priced at $4500 with only 3 being made by Autum. Hehe, i wonder if anyone will actually buy it.

Rain would be nice
At the moment, i really can't wait til Autumn comes because i'm hating the humid weather. I especially can't concentrate in class when it's so hot. On the contrary, i freeze to death in English because my teacher puts the aircon on 19 degrees and it blows in my direction.
I went and got a haircut today and chopped off so much hair. It's still rather long but the amount of hair on the ground was pretty horrifying. Hehe i should've taken a photo of it. Recently i've been thinking about dying my hair again, but i know i probably wont end up doing it because at the same time, i want to leave it natural. Hm, i can't make up my mind. You shall give me your opinions by voting in the poll :D

Time flies
It felt like today went by so slowly, but i'm so glad that it's Friday. With the impending doom of exams drawing nearer and nearer, i'm starting to freak out just a little. Okay, i lied. I'm freaking out quite a lot because there's so much i need to revise for Legal, and i can't afford to screw up another assessment task.
The other day, i was on eBay and i came across the Paul & Joe Alice in Wonderland Tin Set for auction (new). I've always been regretting that i didn't buy it when it was still in stock online so i figured that i'd bid on it just so i could have an ease of mind. I didn't bid until the last few seconds and i even used an eBay sniper (because it ended at 8:07 am on Thursday and i had to leave for school so i couldn't manually bid and was scared that it'd lag on my phone) but unfortunately, someone outbid me by one pound (around 1.60 AUD) in the last two or three seconds. I knew i should've set my sniper to two seconds before the auction ended! That way, the person wouldn't have had time to bid, although they might've used auto bid or a sniper too. I was pretty depressed that i lost because i really wanted it. However, i did make myself feel better by buying one of the current limited edition lipsticks. I was thinking about getting both the lightest (Alfresco) and medium (Chantilly) shade but stopped myself. Maybe ill end up buying another one after i've received Chantilly. Hooray for free shipping on ASOS ! To be honest, i don't even know why i like buying make-up when i don't even really use it unless it's a special occasion. Let's just say i can't resist the cute/pretty packaging.
Anyway, i feel like my blog is dying a slow and painful death. I shall attempt to revive it.

Absence
I'm surprised that i haven't been blogging for the past few days but it happens once in a while. Sometimes i find that i have so many things to blog about, and other times i don't have anything to blog about. I just haven't really been in a blogging mood, not that i have much to talk about since i have school five days a week. Believe me, you wouldn't want to read about my insignificant school day anyway.
I came across some lovely polish colours in the last few days, definitely on my want list (That's currently very long. I'm surely going to go broke.) Anna Sui Shimmer Nail Polish in Sky and Light Pink, Chanel LE VERNIS Nail Colour in Orange Fizz, OPI I Vant to Be A-Lone Star.

ilikefridays
I don't have much detail to add to what i want to talk about so i shall take the liberty of writing in a list.
1) Dad came back from his China trip yesterday but he didn't bring back much goodies for me. My aunt and cousin bought some clothes for me, and although i'm thankful that they did, let's just say their taste in fashion is far from mine. Now i don't know what to do with the pile of clothes. I wanted to try the other flavours of the yummy White Rabbit lollies so i told my dad to buy some for me and he forgotttt ): I'm not sure if you can buy the other flavours here because i've only seen the original.
2) My uncle is wanting to move back to Australia from Hong Kong :D This is something i'm happy about because i honestly feel really deprived of relatives here and we've been close since i was a child. He also spoils me, hehe.
3) Ever since i got my English speech over and done with, i've been so lazy at home it's not even funny. Take for example right now, i have nothing to do and i'm sitting here boring my mind out, but i'm so tired that i don't want to do anything school related. Urgh, this must stop!
4) I can't remember what i was doing but i somehow ended up on beautybay.com and now i'm so tempted to buy those Paul & Joe lipsticks from the Spring 2011 Parasol collection. Curse the pretty packaging !
5) I'm so glad that it's Friday. It's been such a long and tedious week.

Sleep deprived
I really ought to stop breaking my new years resolution of sleeping early because 6 hours of sleep is clearly not enough for me. I find that i feel extra sleepy during tutor. It might be because i just sit there listening without actually doing much. Or maybe because it's really dim inside my tutor's house. Either way, i hope he doesn't realise that i'm sitting there nodding away. I ended up doing my speech today because no-one volunteered and i got picked as the second person to go. I'm rather glad that i got it over and done with, but now i'm paranoid about my mark. Stress just doesn't want to leave me alone, does it?
Because i saw the cutest cookie recipe, i have the sudden urge to bake cookies. I tend to want to bake things just because they look cute/pretty. I don't even end up eating them much. Hm, not sure if i'll have time this weekend but i might bake some.
*Yawns* I shall go to sleep before i pass out on my desk. Goodnight.

Winter night
I'm so glad the weather has finally dropped but i think it's a little too cold right now, around 17.8 degrees at Homebush? It feels like a Winter day in the midst of Summer. But you know what would be nice? If we had our jerseys ! We apparently wont get them until the end of this term or the beginning of next. Very slow if you ask me. I don't have much to talk about, really. Oh, but i have been thinking about getting a laptop so i can use it downstairs when i want to, or watch dramas in my bed (hehe). Which reminds me, i started watching 大切なことはすべて君が教えてくれた (Taisetsu na Koto wa Subeta Kimi ga Oshiete Kureta) with Miura Haruma and Toda Erika. Both my favourites :3 I feel like i haven't watched a Japanese drama in ages because there hasn't really been anything interesting lately. Anyway, this drama looks quite promising.
Only two periods of class for me tomorrow, but my free period is in between so i guess i'll go to the library to do my tutor homework.

Stuck in a heat wave
Ten million years later, i'm finally getting somewhere with my English speech that i was meant to have finished ages ago. Well, i guess now that i know what i want to write, it shouldn't take as long. That is, unless i get sidetracked (I want the next ep of Dream High !). Urgh, i'm so fail at English because unlike other subjects, there isn't a textbook with info to remember, nor are there calculations and formulas like in maths. I really do wish that i was naturally good at English like some people.
Hot weather makes me so tired and lazy. I can't wait til this stupid heat wave is gone ! *angryface* I'm glad it's fairly pleasant tonight though.
I really love IU's voice, not to mention her character in Dream High.
I wish it would rain
If you know me well, you would probably know that i generally hate when it rains,
but right now, i wish a storm would come.

Bird Dance
Best part of ep 9. I laughed so hard.
Mr. Yang tries to help the quartet choreograph a dance related to the theme of "birds" and tells them to imagine being a bird.
At home
Today is the swimming carnival and even though it's our last one, i decided to stay home because it's too hot and it's really a waste of time anyway. Maybe i would've considered going if Kristy and Irene didn't say they weren't. The only thing i would've wanted to see would be people in my grade "racing" with their floaties and water guns, not that i would've swam.
I'm not sure if i blogged about it but last time i went to the post office to collect my parcels, the man working at the counter said that one of them "wasn't there" and told me to go back after i get a second notice. Half a month later, they apparently finally found it somewhere and i got a notice to collect it. Not only was i annoyed at that fact, but walking over in this weather would be suicide. Luckily i got a lift from Viv's very nice family friend after school yesterday, who also drove me down to the station. Haha, i think i have too much nail polish now. I promise i will stop buying any (maybe after i get the three other colours i wanted from China Glaze?)

Hm, contemplating on whether i should pre purchase any movie tickets because there's that $7 movie tickets deal with Cinebuzz again. There are a couple of movies i wouldn't mind watching, maybe I am Number Four and Sucker Punch. Unless there's some good movie in the coming soon list that didn't have a name interesting enough for me to click on or youtube the trailer. I still haven't watched The Green Hornet, though i really only want to watch it because of Jay Chou.
