Bye Bye

Jetting off to New York tomorrow (still haven't packed)! Will blog when and if I can.

You all should know that I really like IU but I really wish her songs were better.
Her vocals are good but the songs themselves are just not that great imo.

Formal (1001st post)

Really don't feel like blogging in words but overall, formal was fun, and although our afters got half ruined because we got busted by security for having so many people in one apartment, it was still enjoyable at times. Literally got no sleep for the whole night and went to sleep with damp hair when I got home because I was so exhausted. It was quite difficult to lug my stuff home with an umbrella in one hand and whilst wearing heels. I didn't really like the food at the formal though, esp the "man food" that I traded with my friend next to me (it alternated between a vegetarian and meat dish).

I swear I hate resizing photos for my blog. It's such a hassle *sigh*.
Especially when Photoshop keeps crashing on me!

Harry Potter: The Exhibition

Yay, went to Harry Potter: The Exhibition at Powerhouse Museum today! It cost $32 but it was actually better than what I was expecting so it was definitely worth it (well, at least to me). I so would've taken a million photos and posted them here but we weren't allowed to take photos inside, which sucked! You have no idea how much I wanted to take photos. I really liked the clown boggart, it looked freaky hehe. Would've been more awesome if it could move though! Also really liked the Angel of Death from HP4 and the dementor. Haha seems like I'm interested in all the freaky props. I really wanted to buy a wand (they had so many models! elder wand, Harry's wand, Ron's wand, Hermione's wand etc.) but it was $50 and as much as I love HP, I didn't want to spend $50 on something that'll just be for display. Then we walked around the rest of the museum for a while. I haven't actually been inside the Powerhouse Museum before. Some parts were fun. By the time we finished I was starving and so we went to Town Hall to look for the okonomiyaki store that didn't end up existing (I wonder whose fault it is hm? I know you're reading this :P). We walked around in a circle and ended up eating at a Japanese restaurant in Capitol. Anyway, fun day overall! Minus the rain and heart attack (not literal) when going home.

No idea why my ticket says adult.

The flying car was outside the actual exhibition so I could take a photo of it

Busy

I've been busy for the past few days so I haven't had the time to blog. On Friday I had a nice day shopping with my mum in Chatswood and finally got my formal dress cut. I haven't been there many times because it's so far away but I realised that I really like it there. Everything is so convenient and for some reason the atmosphere feels nice too. Plus, the takoyaki in Chatswood is so yummy! Also had cold taro soup with sago and ice cream for lunch hehe.

Excuse the low quality iphone pic

Hm, yesterday I accompanied my friend to Kinokuniya in Town Hall. We tried to find a book for myself because I kind of want to read something, but failed because I'm so picky and nothing seemed interesting! Or maybe I'm just not a book person. We had sushi for lunch at Asagao (I think)  Makanai on Pitt St and searched high and low for a clutch that would match my formal dress. I didn't realise that it'd be so hard, and after looking in about a billion stores, I just gave in a bought one from Forever New. Formal shopping is so tiring! Afterwards we met up with my other friends and went to book the apartment room for our after partyyyyyy! I'm so happy that I managed to convince my mum to let me go, but at the same time I feel really bad because I know she's going to be so worried about me *sigh*. Sometimes I wish she'd care less about me (for her own good).

Next week is going to be a super busy week! Probably going to be out every single day.

P.S. Do you ever feel like no one understands you? Or that you're different from the people around you?

Lazy days

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us

Hm, I haven't been up to much lately. Dyed my hair on Sunday (It's just dark brown, has a slight orange tinge in the sun) and went to school for clearance on Monday, the hottest day ever. Just when my arm pain from tennis went away, my left arm is now hurting from lugging textbooks to school. I've been sleeping at 4 am for the past few days, very bad. To make up for it I shall sleep earlier tonight haha. Yay, just two more weeks until I'll be jetting off to NY. I'm started to feel really excited! Can't wait to shop! I suddenly started regretting going to the formal because I realised that it's such a waste of money for a one time thing. Especially since I probably won't ever wear my dress again. If it weren't for the formal, I'd already be in NY *sigh*.

Anyway, I'm so super bored right now and I have nothing to do. I don't really feel like watching any dramas so basically I'm just sitting at my computer talking to people and doing nothing else. Urgh, what a sloth. I'm so bored I'm about to fall asleep at my desk.

And Sydney weather is so crazy. One day it's super hot and the next it's raining and gloomy.

KPOP Fest

Went to KPOP fest tonight! To be honest, the seating arrangement was pretty bad. It wasn't elevated and everyone in the section in front of us kept standing on their seats and blocking my already limited view. What's more annoying is that the security guards kept telling us to get off our seats (we only stood on our chairs because they did!) and yet those people didn't get told off at all, grrr. My legs are super tired from standing for three hours, and my muscles hurts from playing tennis with my friends yesterday (not to mention I got sunburnt and my face hurts). And the sign! There was a freaking sign in front of where we were sitting and it was obstructing my view ): Anyway, although I have so many complaints, I guess it was still kind of worth it in the end since hardly anyone ever comes to Sydney and I still had a fun day. Big thank you to Jess for helping me take photos since she's taller, has longer arms and because my right arm is hurting like a bitch at the moment. Hehe I've always liked Suzy from Miss A but I thought she looked extra pretty in person! And most of the groups did pretty good performances. Wishing I'd bought the tickets earlier though, because then I could've gotten closer seats *sad*. Also, big thank you to Ang for driving us home!

P.S Dying my hair tomorrow!

Can't be bothered resizing a million photos so here's a few.
