Still not free (900th post)

I'm sad to say that i'm still not free from the wrath of exams as i have Japanese speaking tomorrow. I'm the last of my friends to be done with exams *sigh*. I honestly feel that these two weeks have been the longest two weeks of my life so far and i'll be glad to go back to having normal classes, minus the fact that the office still hasn't helped me remove the lock on the locker that's meant to be mine. I'm still lockerless *angryface*.

Late birthday present (Thank youuuuu). Hehe, so they ended up in my hands after all. I do wish that they were lipsticks and not (clear) lip treatment sticks though. Oh well, the oh-so-cute packaging makes up for it *smiles*.

Is it just me, or is my camera failing me lately (quality-wise)? I think it's about time i got a new one.

): I have a really bad headache right now, maybe i should take a nap.

Two to go

The first week of exams is finally over. It's been such a long, exhausting week, and i'm so glad most of my exams are over and done with. I still have Legal and Jap speaking to go though *sigh*. To be honest, i think my performance has been very disappointing, and of course it's my own fault. I already want my marks back, but at the same time i'm too scared to look at them because i know that i probably failed in regards to my expectations. Looks like i have lots to do in the upcoming holidays. There's no time to waste!

Is there no more hope?

Ever since yesterday i've been feeling like i want to give up on everything. I know i might not look like that type of person on the outside, but i'm not as strong as you all think i am. Even though i bottle up my feelings and keep everything to myself, i sometimes wish that there was someone there to give me a hug and tell me it's going to be okay.

I can't help but hate myself for not putting in all my effort, even though it's already the last year of school. I just wish that reality could've hit me earlier so i wouldn't be sitting here regretting it all and thinking that it's too late to change.

Exams Day #1

*Sigh* I don't think did very well in the English exam, but there's no time to think about it because now i have to drown in Maths and Eco. I hate school so very much.

Floating House Inspired by 'Up'

National Geographic have created a real-life version of the animated film Up — launching a house thousands of metres into the air using balloons. A team of scientists, engineers, volunteers and two world-class balloon pilots worked together over the weekend to send the house, measuring 4.8m x 4.8m x 5.5m, into the sky. Using 300 helium-filled weather balloons, the lightweight building reached an altitude of more than 3000m and remained in the air for about an hour. The experiment is to feature in an upcoming show called How Hard Can it Be? on the National Geographic Channel.

Bye Bye Facebook

So after a discussion with Irene during English about how technology and the internet is screwing up my life, i have decided to take her advice and i shall be deactivating my Facebook (hopefully until after the HSC? I'm not sure if that's a promise i can keep though) and i shall be removing my Twitter extension from my browser because i admit that i'm a serious Twitter addict. She did tell me to stop using my computer but i just can't do that, unfortunately.

Anyway, exams are next week and i'm about to have a panic attack, especially after that heated class discussion we had in English on the incompetence of our teacher (he was away today) and how we hardly know anything and basically do nothing in class. I mean, he is a very knowledgeable and friendly person but i think that he's not serious and on-task enough to be taking a year 12 class. So basically my whole class is heading to our doom - minus the few smart people who don't need help. Lovely.

Hm, i'm thinking about skipping school tomorrow so i can stay home and study since we haven't even been doing anything major in class lately.

Before i go to sleep, i just want to say that the earth has been so cruel to the people of Japan. I send my prayers to them. And the idiot who started trending Pearl Harbour on Twitter because he/she thinks that the earthquake was karma for Pearl Harbour is a ******* asshole who doesn't deserve to live. Okay, maybe i overstated it but the person is still an asshole. The people who helped trend it aren't any better.

Thank you to everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday, and thank you to Jess, Kristy, Viv, Christine and Irene for sacrificing precious study time to celebrate my birthday with me. Especially Jess who is still pretty sick, and Kristy and Viv who had to catch buses to Strathfield due to trackwork. I had a very nice time browsing stalls in The Rocks and eating very yummy pancakes :D

(At home) Ice cream cake from Baskin and Robins :D Was yummyyy. It's mango on the inside. Hehe, i'm six ;)

I apologise for my lack of textful blog posts. I haven't really had the time to blog properly lately, especially with mid-year exams coming up. I'm so overwhelmed because i have so much to study and i honestly don't know where to start. Hopefully i'll be blogging more again in about a month or so. Birkenhead Point

I had a very pleasant day shopping at Birkenhead Point today. I thought that i hadn't been there before but when we got there, i realised that i actually have (a very long time ago). I didn't end up buying heaps, but shopping makes me cheerful so it's okay :3 I feel immensely guilty for going out when i should be studying, but one day can't do much harm, right?

OPI Drip Dry, Sally Hansen Age Correct No Chip Base & Top Coat, Paul & Joe L.E Spring 2011 lipstick in Chantilly, Teacup ring from ASOS, Majolica Majorca Puff de Cheek in PK301.

When i saw this ring on ASOS, i wanted it straight away. There's something about teacups that seems to draw my attention.

The tins of the new Majolica Majorca blushes were too cute to resist (i think they're meant to look like macaroons) so i decided to get one since i don't actually own any blushes, surprisingly. Wait i take that back, it's not that surprising since i don't use much make-up. I do like buying it though :|

Chantilly is such a pretty colour, and it has cute flowers on it. However, i do wish that the tube design wasn't so similar to one of the previous L.E lipsticks that i have. I'm a little tempted to buy the lightest shade too but i shall refrain myself from doing so.

Cross Country

I ran today, aren't you proud of me? (Well actually, we got forced to run by the teachers hehe) You guys know how lazy i am, and how i'm not the sporty type of person, but i actually did run quite a bit of the race together with Irene :) I think it was 3 km? I don't even remember the last time i ran that far. That says something about my fitness level don't you think? And surprisingly i actually came 20th for 17 year olds (It's such a shame that i'm not turning 18 this year because there are less people and my rank would've been higher). It's nowhere near a good rank and i'm a little embarrassed to tell you guys, but considering that i'm lazy, walked at times and waited for Irene, i'm quite happy with myself. Perhaps i'm just easily pleased when it comes to sporting achievements. Now i'm thinking maybe i should've ran all those other years so i could've known what position i'd be in. It sucks to be lazy.

Moving on, i went to Burwood with friends after school today to buy materials for our muck-up photo costumes. I can't believe i spent $30 for a one-time photo *sigh*. I could've bought a Paul & Joe lipstick with that money D:

Hm, i feel so tired today, maybe i'll sleep soon.
